Artem Mendelenko – Professor of saxophone at R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, Head of jazz department in college division.

In 1998 graduated from the P. Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatory (now National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music), alt-saxophone class.

Since 1998, he is working at R.Glier Kyiv State Music College.

Since 2010 – Professor of saxophone at R.Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, since 2020 – Head of jazz department in college division.

Participant of more than 50 jazz festivals, such as the Unity, ZA JAZZ FEST, Autumn Jazz Marathon, children jazz festival Atlant-M, Koktebel Jazz Festival, Dodzh, Yalta Wine and Jazz festival, Brazilian Metamorphoses, Jazz Standards, Autumn Blues in Nikopol, Jazz Carnival in Odessa, Jazz Jamboree in Warsaw, Alfa Jazz Fest, Leopolis Jazz Fest (Lviv, Ukraine), concert series “Jazz in Philharmonics” in Kyiv and many others.

Constant participant of Jazz Kolo - jazz project of Igor Zakus (Kyiv, Ukraine). Artem Mendlenko regularly performs and makes records with Ukrainian jazz musicians and also collaborates with many world well-known performers: De Phazz, Karl Frierson, Eric Marienthal, Lars Daniellson, Magnus Öström, John Parichelli, Gregory Privat, Michael Dease, Andrew Gould, Mitch Frohman, Frankie Vasquez, Wayne Escoffery, Paquito D’Rivera, Diego Urcola, Oscar Stagnaro, Mark Walker, Alex Brown and others.

Artem Mendlenko’s students have become Prizewinners of many competitions also his students a winners of program YAMAHA MUSIC GULF SCHOLARSHIT 2020 ( category Saxophone)  .

His students currently continue their studies in the United States, Germany, Austria and Poland.

Participated in recordings of more than 20 CDs and soundtrack for the film of Valeriy Todorovski “Stilyagi”.
